Must-see film unveils what's keepiing us from good health

Our interests throughout the world greatly vary, but there's one common goal we all want to have  - good health.

Dr. Andrew Saul is working on a new film about a proven way of living that can revolutionize our health.
MegaVitamin Man is a new documentary film that will investigate the incredible healing effects of Orthomolecular Medicine. This practice uses nutritional and vitamin therapy to fight off diseases.  For over 60 years there has been clear, clinically proven, evidence that very high dose vitamins can prevent, reverse, and cure various diseases. This work has been ignored by modern medicine.
The MegaVitamin Man film explores the David and Goliath battle, which exists to get this life-changing message out there. The big pharma companies spend millions of dollars each year to discredit vitamins and keep this information hidden from public view.
Entertaining and engaging, MVM follows Saul as he works tirelessly to preserve the legacy of great orthomolecular heroes like Abram Hoffer and double-Nobel prize winner Linus Pauling. It also features interviews with many other experts from around the world about what is contained in the "other doctors' black bag" of nutritional medicine.
Perhaps one of the most compelling stories told is that of Saul's own children, who he never gave antibiotics to growing up. Now grown, these healthy adults and Saul's grandchildren are thriving examples of what it truly means to be the leader of your own health.

Heal yourself with Orthomolecular medicine

Interested in Orthomolecular medicine but have no idea where to start? Let Dr. Andrew Saul's mega health bible be your guide to not only feeling better than ever, but do so by simply eating whole foods and key vitamins.

The best-selling Orthomolecular Treatment of Chronic Disease contains contributions by 65 of the greatest pioneers in orthomolecular medicine. The book is presented in large format and is a massive 800 pages in length. The first section of the book deals primarily with the science behind nutritional therapy in the prevention and healing of disease. The second section provides brief biographies of the doctors and researchers who have pioneered the field of nutritional healing. The final section discusses many chronic health problems along with case histories, and specific nutritional treatments for the effective, safe, and inexpensive cure and prevention of these illnesses. In other words – Saul breaks it all down to what you need to specifically do to overcome whatever is ailing you.

One health concern that many of us face is being overweight. Anyone who wishes to become familiar with orthomolecular medicine, may do so by simply beginning with a whole foods, sugarfree diet, and a few vitamins. Even with this simple approach, people report success.

The growing problem of obesity is addressed as "caused by excessive consumption of sugar." The term "sugar metabolic syndrome" is used to describe the enormous increase in the consumption of refined or processed foods, especially sugar and white flour. Studies show the harm from refining of carbohydrates as removing fiber from our diet, which affects the gastrointestinal system, from the teeth to the colon. It also causes overconsumption of calories, obesity, and diabetes, and it removes protein, which is required to neutralize hydrochloric acid in the stomach.

Orthomolecular Medicine for Chronic Disease is full of illuminating advice, such as: "On the orthomolecular diet, there is no need to be concerned about getting too much fat. This becomes possible only when processed foods are used. In addition, with a good diet one need not be concerned about the ratio of saturated fat to unsaturated fat, as a blend of animal and vegetable foods will ensure that neither too little nor too much of either fat is consumed.

Many Americans will be surprised to learn the real causes of atherosclerosis, too. Rather than a pharmaceutical drug deficiency, one of the main causes is the sugar metabolic syndrome diet. The relation among cholesterol, fat, and protein is complex, but clearly explained by Saul.

This must-have health book contains so much more advice on being the leader of your own health. Imagine the freedom of having all of your health answers at your fingertips, instead of having to guess at how to improve conditions on your own.

Smart home reference for women's health

When it comes to women’s health concerns, conventional medicine is often woefully ineffective at addressing their root causes. It’s no secret that mainstream doctors tend to treat women’s illnesses with medications that cause side effects that can be as bad as—or worse than—the original problem.

Case in point: It often takes two drugs to treat a urinary-tract infection (UTI)—an antibiotic to treat the UTI and an anti-fungal drug to treat the yeast infection caused by the antibiotic. This limited way of addressing female health concerns is what prompts many women to explore alternatives, namely nutritional supplements and preventive strategies that address underlying problems, not just their symptoms.

That’s why The Vitamin Cure for Women’s Health Problems by Helen Saul Case is such a smart home-reference find. Written by a female researcher who speaks from personal experience in dealing with her own health concerns, this book offers great nutritional guidance, natural alternative options, and vitamins that actually can cure what ails many women. Our health partners at WellBella magazine caught up with the author to talk about the inspiration behind the book as well as some of the best tips and insights from it.

Author Helen Saul Case said she set out to create a book that seeks to create an environment similar to sitting down with a good friend who just happens to have stacks of vitamin research at her fingertips.

wb | What inspired this book?
hsc | I was raised in a household where vitamins and nutrition were the answers to our illnesses, and more often for the prevention of illness. After leaving home and dealing with my own “feminine ailments,” not only did drugs not cure what I suffered from, they actually made things worse. This book stems from my desire to help women help themselves. Of course, we should go to our doctor with our health concerns. But wouldn’t it be nice to not need to go?

wb | How can nutrition treat common female disorders?
hsc | Many women know the value of great nutrition, but knowing exactly how to use nutrition and high doses of vitamins to treat our health issues is another story. What vitamins should we take? How much? Do they work? Well, let it be heard here: Vitamins do work, and you don’t have to take my word for it. Information in The Vitamin Cure for Women’s Health Problems is backed up with hundreds of scientific references that provide plenty of support for the safety and efficacy of vitamin therapy.

wb | You probably wouldn’t get a lot of the information in your book from your doctor. Why do you think that is?
hsc | As talented and educated as your doctors are, their tool bag is filled with drugs, not vitamins; their solutions are medical solutions; their cures are based on a physician’s training. You just won’t find natural alternatives in the medical-pharmaceutical tool bag. We can choose to keep returning to the doctor, or we can choose a path leading away from the disease-medicate-disease-medicate spin cycle. This path is called education, and it takes bravery.

wb | What is one of the most important things a woman can do to protect her health?
hsc | There is no one-step solution for better health. However, we can make our bodies as healthy as possible so they become inhospitable hosts for sickness. We need to eat right and drink plenty of water; take our vitamins; drink fresh, raw vegetable juice; exercise; and take steps to reduce stress. I guess what I’m suggesting isn’t easy. But isn’t suffering from sickness harder?

wb | Did you discover any surprises when doing the research for this book?
hsc | There is so much information out there about how well vitamins work, but we are far more likely to see drug ads on TV and hear about negative vitamin reports. We have access to decades of research that show vitamins are safe and effective. What is surprising is that we rarely get to hear about this positive vitamin research. It’s time for a change.

wb | How do you feel about oral contraceptives?
hsc | I know many women who take the pill and are very happy with their choice. I also know many women who have suffered for years with the consequences of that choice. If you are going to use hormonal contraceptives, you should be aware that your need for certain nutrients increases. For example, a study showed that 75% of women who use oral contraceptives and do not take B6 supplements are deficient in B6.

wb | You mention in the book that a craving for pickles and cheese may mean that you need more calcium. Can share any other examples of physical signs that may indicate a nutritional deficiency?
hsc | Feeling moody lately? B vitamins should be on the menu. Vitamin C is another mood enhancer. Are you suffering from menstrual cramps or leg cramps? More magnesium may be just what you need. When you feel out of balance, it is your body’s way of calling your attention to an issue. The trick is to learn your body, and then learn what it needs and what to do that works best for you. –

Take charge of your own health now

The United States is facing a critical shortage of doctors that could seriously jeopardize the ability of a patient to get medical care in the coming years. The most widely publicized prediction of a looming crisis comes from the Association of American Medical Colleges , which has said that by 2025, the U.S. will be short roughly 130,000 doctors.

It's not hard to see how the group makes that calculation. Millions of people are getting health insurance for the first time under the federal Affordable Care Act. At the same time, 10,000 baby boomers are qualifying for Medicare every day. All of this only adds to the practical notion to start doctoring ourselves more with healthier food. Who better to lead the way than the MegaVitamin Man himself, Dr. Andrew Saul.

The best place to start feeling better is at our dinner tables. Saul says we eat too much of the wrong foods and not enough of the right ones. Scientific research continually indicates nationwide vitamin and mineral deficiencies in our country, and we spend nearly three trillion dollars each year on disease care.

Saul has seen enough of this situation, and in the bestselling book, Doctor Yourself, he gives you the power you need to change it. Citing abundant scientific evidence as well as case studies from his decades of practice, Saul explodes the myth that an army of medical specialists and pharmaceutical drugs is necessary to maintain health.

The human body evolved to live well and fight off disease on a supply of only a couple of dozen essential nutrients. Unfortunately, modern diets provide catastrophically inadequate levels of those nutrients. Using the guidelines set out in Doctor Yourself, you can not only prevent disease from getting a foothold in the first place, but also cure yourself of illnesses already in progress without resorting to drugs and surgery.

One of the most popular guides to nutritional therapy ever published, Doctor Yourself is now updated and expanded with the latest research and additional topics, providing proven methods for combating an even wider variety of health conditions.

Whether he’s delivering commonsense tips on subjects such as weight loss and longevity or praising the healthy glow of a carotene tan, Saul takes the starch out of healthcare and makes taking charge of your family’s health a valuable and life-improving experience.

Find your health answers in another doctor's bag

Dr. Andrew Saul
MegaVitamin Man
Everyone in the world is concerned about their health and their family's health. It's the one thing we all have in common at some stage in our lives. The tragic and life-threatening irony? We're spending more on healthcare and fighting disease than we ever have before, yet diseases are continuing to rise.

All of this while pharmaceutical companies make more and more profit. Bottom line is, millions of people are dying every year of cardiovascular disease and cancer. Something has to change. Now.

Are you ready to be part of a health revolution, led by the MegaVitamin Man himself, Dr. Andrew Saul? Many of you know him from his trailblazing health books and documentary, Food Matters. Now he's working on a new film that will change the way you think about good health, medicine, and put the power of life-saving knowledge in your own hands.

Saul says that there is a defensive almost bunker mentality that conventional medicine is the only way to treat disease and if that doesn't work, then nothing will. But just because a doctor's bag is empty, doesn't mean that another doctor's bag doesn't have the answer.

For more than 38 years, Saul has studied a better way. This film will open the other bag. Watch the trailer here and be part of a better revolution to find those answers...

Connect to the Earth to feel better now

Just as the sun gives us warmth and vitamin D, the Earth underfoot gives us food and water, a surface to walk, sit, stand, play, and build on, and something you never, ever thought about—an eternal, natural, and gentle energy.

Think of it perhaps as vitamin G—G for ground. What does that mean to you?  Maybe the difference between feeling good and not so good, of having little or a lot of energy, or sleeping well or not so well.

You can’t see the Earth’s energy but some people can feel it as a warm, tingling, and pleasant sensation when they are out walking barefoot along the water’s edge at the beach or on a stretch of dew-moistened grass.

Throughout history humans walked barefoot and slept on the ground. But modern lifestyle, including the widespread use of insulative rubber- or plastic-soled shoes, has disconnected us from the Earth’s energy and, of course, we no longer sleep on the ground. Fascinating new research has raised the possibility that this disconnect may actually contribute to chronic pain, fatigue, and poor sleep that plague so many people.

The remedy for the disconnect is simple. Walk barefoot outdoors whenever possible and/or sleep, work, or relax indoors in contact with conductive sheets or mats that transfer the energy to your body. People who do on a regular basis say they sleep better, feel better, and have more energy during the day.  This simple practice is called Earthing, also known as grounding, and it is both a technology and a movement which is transforming lives across the planet.

To experience earthing for yourself, go barefoot outside for a half-hour and see what a difference it makes on your pain or stress level.  Sit, stand, or walk on grass, sand, dirt, or concrete.  These are all conductive surfaces from which your body can draw the Earth’s energy.  Wood, asphalt, and vinyl won’t work.  They are not conductive surfaces.  Experience for yourself the healing energy of the Earth at work.

Breakthrough – a cancer vaccine does exist

  1. Because cancer affects everyone, The Woman Who Cured Cancer, The Remarkable Story of Dr. Virginia Livingston-Wheeler, offers hope and solace to those stricken with cancer

It's time to let the world know that there is a cancer vaccine that has achieved a 90 percent success rate.

Author Edmond G. Addeo recounts the discovery by Dr. Virginia Livingston-Wheeler, M.D., of a cancer-causing microbe that is normally held in check by a healthy immune system in the new book, The Woman Who Cured Cancer.

Years later, Livingston-Wheeler and biochemist John J. Maynarich, Ph. D. co-developed a vaccine that achieved. Livingston-Wheeler died in 1991, but Maynarich has continued to make the vaccine, which is still available from his lab in Redmond.

It all began when Livingston-Wheeler discovered the source of cancer was bacterial, rather than viral, and spent years in the mid-1900s researching a protocol to successfully destroy it. But the medical establishment vilified and ignored her findings. So she went it alone and established her own medical clinic that has phenomenal survival rates.

This story is more relevant today than ever before because the latest science is now validating her protocols. Antitubercular vaccines, autogenous vaccines (prepared from the patient’s own tumor), high doses of vitamins A, C, D, E, and essential minerals, and an immune-boosting diet high in cancer-fighting foods like broccoli sprouts and tomatoes are recommended by the medical academy that once denounced her.

That’s what motivated author Edmond G. Addeo, who first wrote about the doctor in The Conquest of Cancer (Franklin-Watts, 1985), to revisit and update her story in this book. Addeo is convinced that laypeople, especially the millions diagnosed with new cancers each year, are anxiously searching for a real cure, while newly trained practitioners are bound to be more receptive to the innovate work of “Dr. Virginia,” as he calls her.

Much of the book recounts Addeo’s original research into her scientific discoveries that led to successful treatment modalities—80 to 90 percent cure rate in comparison with the standard rate of 15 to 20 percent. Three chapters deal with hard science: why Livingston-Wheeler rejected the three conventional cancer treatments of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation; how the immune system works; and her discovery of the cancer microbe and the development of a vaccine to destroy it.

Another chapter surveys the many articles she published about the bacterial nature of cancer and her subsequent record-breaking treatment of it. Throughout the book are news updates about current cancer treatments, research projects, and nutritional developments that confirm her visionary work—promoting the body’s innate ability to combat cancer.
